Delete From the Buyer App
Open the Buyer App and go to Profile > Legal & Privacy > Delete Account. The App will show a warning, ask you to confirm, send an OTP to your registered mobile number, and delete the account after successful OTP verification.
After deletion, your Buyer Account is deactivated, you are signed out, and your saved buyer session is cleared from the device.

- your registered mobile number;
- your name, if available;
- any recent Order ID, if you are asking about a specific Order.
What Is Deleted or Deactivated
When your Buyer Account is deleted, Apna Bazar deactivates the account, removes or anonymizes buyer profile information such as account name, mobile number, and saved address from the active buyer profile, and clears the buyer session, saved profile, checkout state, and cart from the App on that device.
If wishlist or saved-product features are available in the App, saved wishlist information associated with the deleted account may also be removed or made unavailable.
What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained where needed for completed Orders, delivery records, payment records, refunds, returns, COD records, tax or accounting records, fraud prevention, disputes, grievances, support records, chargebacks, security, or applicable law.
Order history may retain order-level snapshots such as product details, order amount, delivery details, payment status, refund status, and related transaction information where required for legal, tax, accounting, financial, consumer protection, fraud prevention, dispute, or operational obligations.
Retention Period and Timeline
In-App deletion normally deactivates the Buyer Account immediately after successful OTP verification. Records that are not required for legal, tax, accounting, payment, refund, return, dispute, fraud prevention, or security purposes are deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
Records retained for compliance, financial, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, chargeback, consumer protection, or legal purposes may be retained for up to 8 years, or longer if required by applicable law, a regulator, a court order, an active dispute, or a fraud or security investigation.
